Program Summary
The Code establishes that developers in the Central Business Core District can provide public art on-site in lieu of conforming with one or more of the required forms of development as prescribed in § 2204. Qualifying artists must be approved by the Public Art Committee. The artwork installation can be provided on-site or on public property in the Pembroke Strategic Growth Area, with the approval of the City and subject to enumerated requirements. Except in cases where the artwork is dedicated to the City, the developer will be responsible for all ownership and maintenance duties.
