Contribution for Art in Public Places Program, Emeryville, California, Municipal Code, Title 3, Chapter 2, Article 4 (2024).

Private nonresidential and non mixed-use building developments with costs exceeding three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) must make a public art contribution equivalent to no less than one percent (1%) of its project costs, or else pay an equivalent in-lieu fee to the Emeryville Public Art Fund. Private residential and mixed-use building developments with more than twenty (20) units must make a public art contribution equivalent to no less than one half of one percent (0.5%) of its project costs, or else pay an equivalent in-lieu fee to the Emeryville Public Art Fund. 

 

Public development projects exceeding three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) must make a public art contribution equivalent to no less than one and one half percent (1.5%) of its project costs.
