Program Summary
The Policy establishes that all commercial developments and residential developments with four (4) units or more that are valued at one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00) or above are subject to a mandatory public art requirement. Projects may satisfy the requirement by contributing one percent (1%) of the project’s total value to the public art fund. The purpose of this fee is to provide adequate funding to buy, site, install, maintain, and protect art in public places around the city.
