The Code establishes that all new residential development projects of one hundred (100) or more units and all commercial development projects with a construction value of five hundred thousand dollars ($500,000.00) or more are subject to a mandatory public art requirement. Additionally, all private development is encouraged to provide public art.
The Code does not establish a minimum value for the artwork to be installed, but provides a non-exhaustive list of what types of artwork qualifies for the public art requirement.
