The regulation requires all developers to meet with the County’s Public Art Program staff, prior to filing a site plan application, to assess opportunities to integrate public art into the development. When negotiated as part of the community benefits package, developers may choose to support public art by commissioning a work of public art to be placed on-site or by providing funding for County-initiated public art projects on public property through a cash contribution to the Public Art Fund. Cash contributions must be paid prior to the issuance of the Final Building Permit.
