Project Background:
The original Have You Seen My Public Art? map was created in 2013 by artist Kenny Be as a campaign to encourage submissions for inclusion in the Public Art Archive in the earlier stages of the program’s inception. The second edition of the map will be created by artist Kara Fellows, using newly submitted public art imagery as an opportunity to increase visibility of a diverse range of public art across the United States and U.S. territories.
Distribution Process:
The maps will be distributed widely, for free, via digital networks and used in occasional Public Art Archive and WESTAF collateral material (including postcards and posters). All artwork submissions will be juried for inclusion in the map, and all artworks submitted, whether selected or not, will be added to the Public Art Archive repository to increase access to information about public art throughout the world.
Terms of Use:
All artworks submitted for this project may be rendered by the illustrator as a 2-D line drawing. By submitting to this project, you agree to hold the illustrator, WESTAF, and the Public Art Archive harmless for utilizing photographs of artwork for this purpose.
