This program is a commitment to nurturing local talent and ensuring Broward County’s creative infrastructure remains vital and forward-thinking in the evolving landscape of contemporary art.

The program provides a unique opportunity for local artists to explore the intersection of their current artistic practices and advanced digital media. The initiative pairs selected artists, working in any medium, with established practitioners in digital and media arts.

Participants engage in a collaborative process designed to encourage risk-taking, experimentation, and the development of new skills in areas such as virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), motion graphics, video/sound production, and interactive design. Each project culminates in a public showcase or presentation of the created work.

There are two key objectives of this program:

Encourage Innovation: To support the creation of new and experimental art projects that leverage cutting-edge technology and digital platforms.

Facilitate Collaboration: To provide a platform for artists to work alongside established digital media experts to catalyze broad knowledge sharing, skills building, and unique creative partnerships that expand artistic horizons and professional development opportunities.
