Broward County’s Public Art & Design
By the Numbers
Public Art Data Portal

Our Public Art Data Portal provides a wealth of information on our investment in Public Art. Our interactive Public Art dashboard furnishes a range of insights into Broward’s vibrant public arts sector, offering easy access to the number, types, and locations of our projects, the value of our collection, and more.

This online tool serves as a centralized platform where the public, artists, organizations, and County Commissioners can access and track invaluable public art data, providing transparency and insight into public art throughout the region, and enabling stakeholders to measure the impact of our public art initiatives.

The Cultural Division’s Arts Data Portal was developed in collaboration with Broward’s Resilient Environment’s Innovation Unit.

Distribution of Public Art by District (Fiscal Year 2025)

Value of the Collection by District (Fiscal Year 2025)

Broward’s public artworks are located across all nine commission districts, from our libraries, parks, and transit hubs to our civic buildings. Our collection is heavily represented in District 6 due to the presence of our major enterprise zones that contribute significant funding to building the collection within each of their boundaries (airport, port, convention center). This means that much of the County’s public art investment is concentrated in high-profile, high-traffic, revenue-generating areas where artworks have wider public reach.

Our Public Art Collection is currently valued at approximately $28 million.
